Based on the Mythos of the goddess Diana the Huntress, Water Root synthesizes image and poetry, giving a glimpse into a day in the life of a fictional group of woodland dwelling women. Within the time it takes to make a painting, these mythical maidens form a bond between art and survival. This film is part of Look At Me Now!, a group exhibition curated by Allison Glenn.
