Viewing Room, a semi-public exhibition space allowing for flexible programming opportunities in conjunction with, but separate from, the main public exhibition spaces located in the front of the gallery.
During the new location’s inaugural exhibition, Jeff Sonhouse: Entrapment, June 9 to August 18, 2018, the Viewing Room will be fully open to the public with an installation of works by Abigail DeVille, Sheree Hovsepian, and Caroline Kent, coinciding with their inclusion in the multi-venue traveling exhibition Out of Easy Reach(on view at DePaul University Art Museum, Gallery 400 at UIC, and Stony Island Arts Bank through August 5, 2018; traveling to Grunwald Gallery, Indiana University, Bloomington, August 24 – October 4, 2018). During this time, the Viewing Room will also debut new paintings by young Chicago-based painter Jarvis Boyland.
