Sublime, Soft-core Monkey Butts and Scarlett Johannson on Skull Island

10 February - 11 March 2006

Carla Arocha, Robert Davis + Michael Langlois, Christopher Patch, and Alison Ruttan

Carla Arocha’s sublime, abstract work can be defined as a critical discourse around the ways of differentiating seeing and looking, postulated as a reflection on modern constructions of the gaze.

Robert Davis + Michael Langlois will present 4 new drawings in direct relationship to their current solo show Teenagers from Mars at Changing Role Move Over Gallery in Naples Italy.  With a mix of soft-core lust, punk rock, and American history, the artists offer the following insight.

Christopher Patch, now fully entrenched in Brooklyn, has sent us a much anticipated selection of new works on paper.

Alison Ruttan is offering us a glimpse into a future video project based on her recent fascination with the over-sexed, and grooming obsessed Bonobo monkey.
