Cheryl Pope’s seductive wool paintings depict images of love, relationships and vulnerability, referencing canonical movements like Les Nabis and Intimism focusing on the domestic interior. Jake Troyli’s paintings blend classical iconography from Neoclassicism and the Renaissance with a touch of humor to probe the dynamics of labor capitalism and the notion of cultural value.
