Frieze New York Viewing Room : A solo presentation by David Antonio Cruz

moniquemeloche is pleased to present an online survey of recent works by David Antonio Cruz, as part of El Museo del Barrio’s lauded DIÁLOGOS section celebrating a select group of Latinx and Latin American artists, curated by Rodrigo Moura. Through his painterly figuration, Cruz explores the intersectionality of queerness and race, depicting his subjects both as specific individuals and as monumental signifiers for large and urgent systemic concerns.
